Mindful monday

Today I want to share a very powerful message with you that one of my friends shared with me over the weekend.
The pen isn't mightier than the sword. Pens don't win battles and swords don't write poetry.
Mighty is the hand that knows when to pick the pen and when to pick the sword.
How often do we allow our mouths to get ahead of us before we really stop to think about what is coming out of our mouths? No word can be taken back once it is spoken out of our lips. We must learn how to pick our battles wisely as not every situation deserves a reaction or our energy. Remember that if it's not going to matter tomorrow there is no need to put out a reaction.
