Bad eyesight & precision shooting
Added 2018-11-02 11:04:56 +0000 UTC So... i have bad eyesight at distance and astigmatism. It doesn't bother me that much until it comes to precision shooting with iron sights.
Even at 15 meters i can't see the target clearly anymore so i have to really strain my eyes and guesstimate when aiming.
The problem is that since my target is blurred i can't always position my sights at the same spot and i get a larger group and less accurate hits. It gets even worse with bad lighting...
One great solution would be to get correction glasses but im lazy 
So what i did here is take a cardboard patch, make a small hole through it and taped it to the inside of my shooting glasses. The small hole worked as a makeshift diopter helping me to focus on the target. It actually made a big difference!
Look at my shot group at 25m and i wasn't even trying 
I knew this was causing problems with my shooting but i never realized how much easier it would be to aim and hit.
