Added 2019-08-07 21:45:39 +0000 UTC- Added Sylvan variant: Slime (was its own race, but it's better as a variant)
- Added Sylvan variant: Orc
- Fixed body shapes revert to default when Body Composition is disabled
- Fixed gaudy trait not showing in the wild
NOTE: The Slime is very experimental and doesn't look that great yet. Transparency on a dynamic animated character is a challenge to pull off in a way that reacts to lighting. As the engine gets upgraded and I research better ways to handle transparency, the slime will be updated.
I am aware Esoteric Glade has too many variants which makes the spawn rate for each type low. The roaming system needs an upgrade to subdivide each zone into smaller zones. This will be done soon, but I am intent on finishing the races.

Was wondering about that, but good to hear in the future slimes may be transparent, if possible.

2019-08-14 22:57:38 +0000 UTCI release more builds in a month than many creators do in a year. Sure each build is small--it has to be as a single dev. You think hiring a team would solve everything, but it comes with more problems.

We can make suggestions, sure, but the buck stops with him. There could be other reasons as well. Remaining anonymous is probably very important to him, given the nature of the project.

The male "model" already exists (Breeder), lacking only the possibility of using a "human" trait other than "exotic" trait. (sorry for may very poor english)

2019-08-14 08:26:43 +0000 UTCI agree with Sergio actually, Helmsman has refused hiring a team to help develop this game and it shows. There's only so much a single person can per so much time. I'm honestly not surprised the development has been so slow and it's disheartening to say the least.

What won't happen today may happen later. If I had no faith in the project I'd not support it with my money.

2019-08-10 09:29:58 +0000 UTCsergio first off go watch Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken or by its english name That Time I was Reincarnated as a slime to understand beautiful orc girls (Goblina's but Japan so orcs are pigmen to them and anything Orcoid is a goblin) Second as I've stated before the Dev works on female additions first then works on males several updates later it wasn't til 0.212 that the foxen & Vulwarg got guys + I hate to say it but male models are harder to make because they need to look stronger, & Bigger, with more muscle definition than females and from my experience its easier to make the smoother softer looking females, I mean I remember the males for foxen & vulwarg in 0.212 they looked like very effeminate men Traps I could say put one in a dress & yeah looked like a girl, but anyway males will come most likely after the current batch of new races are added.

2019-08-09 20:31:06 +0000 UTCWe currently have 14 hybrid types and the Mutt Hut can only hold 60 individuals. Average is 4-5 per type right now. Any plans on expanding that capacity? The files are all stored locally anyway. Assuming the Sylvans get hybrids, we're gonna need way more room. (I wouldn't mind if we could have 10x as much storage overall but its not as necessary...)

2019-08-08 01:14:51 +0000 UTCVariant is a different form within a race as opposed to it's own race. Slime hybrids will allow you to make different slimes that look like other races.
