Patron Exclusive: Nova Explorations Sample Library
Added 2023-05-11 20:57:46 +0000 UTCIn early 2022, I bought a Novation Nova at a flea market for $42. I smiled all the way home, thinking I'd gotten the deal of the century. It came with a bunch of cables, among which I assumed I would find the power supply. Alas, it wasn't long before I realized that not only was the power supply missing, but replacing it would be very hard. Novation no longer makes them and they have a very strange, non-standard configuration. Anyway, after six months, I was finally to make my own power cable and get it working. And you know what? It's a great synth!
In this sample library, I pair the Novation Nova with the Meris LVX, a fantastic reverb/delay multi-effects pedal. The sounds are mostly in the synthwave / vaporware realm, but there are a few interesting outliers. Hope you enjoy this!
