Big news! (EDIT: server launch date moved)

Hello everyone!
We hope you’ve been having a safe and enjoyable Summer. We’ve been hard at work preparing for some big changes leading up to the public Mothorial launch, and we have some big news to share with you all!

A few months ago, Ari and I were contacted by a friend of ours and creator of the Webcomic Tamberlane, Caytlin Vilbrandt, about potentially joining a public webcomic collective, a spiritual successor to Dreamy Star Comics, a once-private webcomic community. We were extremely excited by this idea and joined the team, with a goal of creating a community that promotes bold and inclusive storytelling.

So for the last few months, we've been weaving together a new vision! Foxglove Comics is a collective of webcomic creators who have banded together to foster not only each other, but a shared community of like-minded readers! We aim to help burgeoning creators and provide a place for comic fans to flourish with the mutual goal of hosting an uplifting environment full of friendly support and creative passion.

This is, in large part, done through the Dreamy Star Comics Discord server which is going to be opening to the public. We will be merging with the larger community, but we will continue to have our own section to discuss Mothorial, as well as Patron-specific areas. By joining this larger group, we’ll be promoting a vibrant community, bringing new readers in as we launch, and giving Mothorial fans a chance to check out other similar webcomics and creators!

There's more than just the Discord in the works as well! We plan on running community events, crossovers, and lots of other fun things between our comics and communities! Basically, we've got some very active talented folks with community experience who will be helping out and making this an awesome place to be!

What does this mean for our current discord server? 

Our current planned merging date is September 12th, and all Patrons who support us before the merge will be given an exclusive role in the new server as thanks for your early support! The current Discord server will continue to be supported for a month following the merge to allow for any potential backups and to help ease the transition. We’re extremely excited to bring Mothorial to a wider audience and continue to provide a fun and cozy place to chat, while also giving you all a space with more events, opportunities, and creative voices!
