Let Willow sleep! โค๏ธ

So many people have given her blankets she'll be cosy af. Not a mini duvet though which is a shame ๐Ÿ˜… aw love that ๐Ÿฅน

Lady ASMR

Haha you're so welcome!

Lady ASMR

I would imagine Baby Lady has her own little duvet ready to go for her arrival. She will sleep so contentedly like Willow there, between the duvet and the soothing gentle words she will hear. ๐Ÿค—

Larry Davis here, but willing to change it to Larry Feathers if necessary. Does the title Duvet Appreciation have a dual meaning? Are we to appreciate the cover, or Daisy, or both? I am not sure if we are speaking the same language. To us, a comforter is a fluffy blanket, a duvet is a cover over the blanket (which can be a challenge to put over the comforter until you get the knack for it). We lived in Germany for a time, where winter nights meant open windows and goosedown bedding. The bed had a goosedown mattress cover and goosedown blanket, which required duvet covers to protect them from our bodies. The result was a night spent in surround feathering. The set was crazy expensive, and got crazy hot at times, which is why the mattress cover was retired shortly after purchase. The down comforter was light and comfy, but it required fluffing every night because the feathers would somehow float to the foot of the bed. It stayed warm regardless, but the cozy feeling wasn't as wonderful in the morning. Yes there were stitched cells, but the feathers found their way down at the bottom anyway. In the US Army I was issued a downy sleeping bag that was rated for near arctic conditions. When bundled inside of it, the effect was a papoose-like affair that could even cover your head, leaving just an area open for your face. Never having been stationed in Alaska, I generally unzipped it into a blanket and slept under it, or used a flannel blanket and slept on top of it. There can be no such thing as a waterproof comforter. The only thing that approaches it would be a plastic survival bag.
