I watched this a while ago, but from what I can remember, dermatologists lump all the skin cancers together to boost the cancer numbers and sell more skin care products. The two most common skin cancers almost never metastasize and are almost always treatable. The far more dangerous and far less common skin cancer, melanoma, can kill you if it metastasizes, but if you catch it early, it's treatable 95% of the time. And they're not even sure if melanoma is caused by too much sunlight, and may be caused by not enough sunlight. So, yeah, use the sunscreen so you don't get burnt on vacation, but the cancer scare surrounding sunlight is mostly BS... if this video is true. I dunno. 2024-08-01 19:39:30 +0000 UTCWell, there's a lot of research that a short wave length UV radiation (UVB) causes cancer. It's not as bad as radioactive radiation. More UV light is getting through atmosphere as ozone layer is thinner. Some reason there's also more melanoma in areas that get more sun light.

I mean even though you get used to the heat, surely you're still hot as hell and sweating all the time π Oh you certainly do, this was our first holiday in 5 years so I think that's why I felt nervous going on the first place, but I like being in the UK. Most people complain about it but it could be worse!

2024-07-28 09:55:07 +0000 UTCAll and all, it seemed you had a nice vacation. Typical tourist stuff! I don't like flying and sitting in these tiny tin cans is hell. I'm quite tall, so my knees are against my chest. :D and I have an old sports thingy in my knee, it doesn't help. So, four hour flights are pretty much max. They always say you get used to the heat after couple of weeks, so it could get easier, but over 40C no f**king way. If I ever go to some beach resort I think it will be on winter time, otherwise I would end up spending my time in a hotel. π’ After holidays you actually have new kind of appreciation to be at home. And thanks for sharing. I felt I was there sweating my ass off... haha..
