It can make itself invisible, or use other fairies as bait, create illusion of monsters that aren't there, or making clones of itself so you can't tell which is the real one, and the stronger ones can control other monsters or even fairies directly, meaning the weaker fairy in an adventurer group could end up giving false direction to her friends to lure them closer to the memory thief and trap them. The monster itself is physically weak, so if you can get past its tricks it can be brought down with a single strike.

2019-06-06 20:33:49 +0000 UTCFixed. We talk about it on discord, and I came to the conclusion that if star fairies are the strongest fairies, Memory thieves are their opposite among the monsters. If they evolved a bit further and got smarter, they could unify the monsters into a coordinated army.
2019-06-03 15:56:58 +0000 UTCThe idea of a Memory Thief scares the hell out of me - it would be impossible to know if you actually killed it, or if you had only killed an illusion of it. There is a small error in your description. It should read that the thief "can trick even the most *experienced* fairies."
