I dunno if I'll ever cover this subject in the comic directly, but if you're having sex with a nihallak the last thing you'd want is him to change his tentacle's shape while it's in contact with you. This nihillium shift emit a lot of energy in a very short period, so your soft fleshy parts would get second degree burns. Right after is pretty nice tho as it's quite warm.
