However if she kept him as a prisoner he could spy on them and if he managed to escape, report everything to the emperor. There is also the possibility that the ship's range eventually increase once they have more energy, allowing a connection.

My prediction is that the Queen will absorb the powers of more fairies, making herself stronger, enough so maybe to challenge the Stars and keep them at bay.
