Added 2019-05-03 01:53:40 +0000 UTCSo last time I couldn't really talk about the RPG mechanics without spoiling it. Turns out, I may have been a bit more excited about it that some of you were. I realize it may have been a bit jarring, considering it was a completely different format that what you're used to.
I felt it would be a great change of pace, a nostalgic hat tip to the 90's, and an appropriate distraction for- oops, no spoilers, you'll see in this update :)
Anyways, it was only one update, and though I do plan to have more dungeons in the future, you can expect a "return to form" in this and subsequent updates. I mean, this is what I have planned, if nobody enjoys it, I could always try another approach. This is meant for all of you to enjoy, not for myself to enjoy... that would just be masturbation...
Hopefully you like this one, and see that there is method to my madness.

The dungeon is very straightforward, so I doubt you need any tips for this next part, but just know that it's entirely avoidable. If you're an "eye of the beholder" fan, let's call it the secret quest for the level.

I do like how the RPG this time had some aspects that affected the characters more, I think that was a good choice!

2019-05-03 03:48:41 +0000 UTCHey Artem, you're not the first person to raise these questions. The dom gay stuff isn't available in week 1, but it has started in week 2. Check out the Alpha week 2 path involving Sam and Alan. Yup, you read that right. The inner monologue text there represents how the protagonist is feeling, but he's not privy to things like stat changes, while you (the player) are.

Most games that aren't exclusively m/m tend to treat being gay as being submissive, you can't choose to be gay any other way. That's not a knock on you Ikkabod, nearly all games are like that, but I agree with Artem that it would be cool to not equate homosexuality with weakness necessarily. Personally, I like playing the sub route more, so it's really never bothered me. And, you do have some dominant m/m scenes (Ivan after the party, for example).

2019-05-03 03:36:07 +0000 UTCI always thought that was a little weird too. I can understand the loss of masculinity because he's basically rubbing against your ass which could be a little humiliating, but your strength should at least go up because you're working out.

There are even some really weird discrepancies in what choises lead to/description and parameters change. "He's such a fucking asshole, but this is probably the best lower body workout I've ever had in my life" yet leads to Strength -5, Masculinity -5. Etc.
