Every ending is a new beginning

A few years following Seth’s drift into nonexistence, a pair of black eyes materialized in the surrounding universe. Following the appearance of the eyes, a massive black wolf emerged out of the fabric of the universe.

The beast opened its massive maw, and the data links forming the universe’s building blocks started converging toward the vortex spinning at its center.

Warriors of the universe, one braver and stronger than the previous, rallied to repel the beast threatening their existence.

Unfortunately, despite their power, which was at the peak of the universe, and their large numbers, nothing worked in even making the beast flinch. Their energy attacks will sink into the beast’s body, the energy behind them leaving their control shortly after.

The only thing the power they were so proud of allowed them to do was to witness their home worlds turning into data strings that entered the beast’s stomach.

Slowly, the black hole formed in the beast’s maw grew alongside its body, consuming more and more of the universe.

After they lost their homes and their will to live, the powers of the universe took two divergent paths. Some resisted the beast’s devouring power, allowing themselves to join their kin and loved ones in death, while others fled to the ends of the universe, hoping to escape their imminent death or at least delay it.

After thousands of years, the universe shrunk under Fenrir’s devouring power, becoming the same size as the beast. All signs of life and matter in the universe had been devoured, turning the previously vibrant world into a dead and empty one.

Following the devouring of the world, the beast’s eyes started to close, tears rolling down its face as the vortex in its throat stopped, and its jaw closed.

In the small void prison, the beast curled into a ball and started falling into slumber once more, its body turning into a sphere of chaos that hovered at the center.

Not far from it, the World Sovereign heaved a long sigh as he turned his eyes to the side.

“Are you happy now?” muttered the Sovereign. “A new cycle consumed the world...”

Destruction energy seemed to materialize out of nowhere, as if in response to the Sovereign’s muttering, and Seth appeared right to his side.

“The world’s fate is not my responsibility, Sovereign. I was never a hero. Not for you, not for your people, and not for this world.”

“But all those people you left behind. What about them?” asked the Sovereign.

Seth smiled sadly and nodded, “Are you asking me if I l enjoyed watching them get eaten by Fenrir? Then the answer is no. If I could have brought everyone with me, I would have, but I would not endanger my wives or my happiness for their sake.”

“I know I’m a horrible leader and probably even a bad friend to the ones I left behind, but from the start, I only cared about one thing. To leave the simulation you had created alongside my lovers.”

As Seth spoke, space energy left his body, and over a hundred women appeared by his side, all watching the chaos sphere with different expressions.

Some seemed excited and curious, while others were fearful and apprehensive, but between all those women, a little girl was holding the hands of a pink-haired beauty, and her eyes were filled with pity and sadness.

The little girl broke from her mother’s hold and came next to Seth, lifting her innocent eyes to look at the tall man standing by her side and grabbing his hand as she asked, “Dad, why is the little wolf crying?”

The Sovereign’s eyes turned as round as saucers when his gaze landed on the little girl, his mouth muttering a single word, “Venus.”

Seth’s face turned dark, and he moved his eyes to the Sovereign, a dangerous tone as he said, “Look at my daughter like that again and see what happens.”

“Daughter?” muttered the Sovereign, gazing incredulously at Seth.

Seth’s cold expression melted, and he knelt before the girl, smiling while using his finger to fix the frown on her forehead, “Little Theo, the wolf is just tired. It’s not sad.”

The little girl grabbed her father’s hand, moved it away from her face, and turned her curious and worried eyes back on the chaos orb before shaking her head, “No, Dad. She’s crying. Can I pet her?”

Katy rushed forward from the back and grabbed the little girl’s hand, reprimanding her, “Theo, don’t bother your father. He had important things to take care of.”

“But mom…” said the girl in protest, tears welling inside her eyes.

“It’s fine, Katy,” said Seth with a smile, ruffling the little girl’s red hair. “You can’t go close to the wolf, Theo, or it might bite you. Even if it’s sad, as you said, I’m sure it will be better once it wakes up from its nap.”

The little girl pouted and fixed her eyes back on the wolf. Before Seth could react, little Theo disappeared from before him, appearing right before the chaos orb, her hand extending forward and gently caressing it.

Seth’s space energy exploded and appeared right next to Theo, destruction energy already building around him. He placed a hand on Theo’s shoulder and wanted to teleport with her away, but his space transfer shattered before initializing.

“There, there, little wolf. Don’t cry anymore,” whispered the girl, ignoring her father and everyone else’s distressed looks.

A wolf’s silhouette manifested around the chaos orb, its eyes fixed on the little girl petting its head for a moment before moving to Seth’s, now holding a spear of destruction in his hand.

‘Be at ease, Seth. I could not injure her even if I wanted to. My body is completely asleep, and my soul is about to fracture again. The new cycle is about to start.’

Hearing Fenrir’s voice, Seth’s anxiety eased somewhat, but he still didn’t let go of the destruction spear in case Fenrir decided to play any games with him.

After speaking to Seth, Fenrir’s eyes turned back to the girl smiling toward her before she closed them and curled up again, her silhouette slowly fading.

“See, Dad? She’s better now,” said Theo with a proud look, continuing to pet the orb of chaos.

Seth sighed and nodded. “You’re right, Theo, but we should move further away. Let’s let the wolf sleep in peace for now. It’s tired.”

“Theo, be a good girl and listen to your father,” added Katy, coming to their side.

Theo kissed the orb once before moving away and coming to hold onto Katy’s hand with her head lowered, “Did I make trouble for you, Dad?”

Seth smiled and shook his head, “Of course not, Theo, but don’t run off like that again.”

After Theo promised to be good, Seth told Katy to take her to the back using his lust link and turned to look at the Sovereign, who was still deep in thought.

“How long until the new universe will come into shape?”

The Sovereign snapped out of his thoughts and said, “A few eons. The chaos needs to spread and give form to new worlds and life. Genesis and I will take care of everything, but the process is still slow.”

Seth nodded and closed his eyes, trying to feel his creation divinity, but just as he suspected, it only contained a slight fraction of the energy it used to.

“The universe doesn’t have enough energy to enable large-scale creation. It’s fruitless to try to use your creation divinity to make a world before more energy is released from Genesis,” said the Sovereign, guessing Seth’s intent.

Despite his words, Seth smiled and said, “That would be true if I were to rely on Venus’s energy.”

While the Sovereign was frowning in puzzlement, Seth moved to Theo’s side and asked with a smile, “Theo, baby, do you want to help Dad build a new home for us?”

Theo smiled and dashed back to her father, taking his hand and closing her eyes. Creation energy flowed into Seth’s body through the two’s hands, and his divine crown shone brightly again, filled with energy.

The creation energy flew out, giving form to a massive planet not far into the distance. After the new planet was formed, Seth kissed Theo’s forehead and said, “Good girl. Now go home with your mom and aunties and wait for me. I’ll have a word with this man and join you soon.”

Theo obediently moved to hold her mother’s hand, and Henrietta teleported everyone on the planet’s surface.

“You created a copy of Genesis…” said the Sovereign with a sigh.

“She’s no copy of anyone. She’s my daughter,” said Seth with a proud smile, turning to look at the conflicted Sovereign.

“We’re going to have to share this void prison, so I need to clarify something from the start, Sovereign. If you even think about bringing any of my family members or me into your plans, I’ll use any means to erase you, no matter what it might cost me.”

The Sovereign said nothing, and his body turned into a string of data that entered the orb of chaos hovering nearby, getting ready for the recreation of the universe.

Seth scoffed and disappeared, entering the newly created world, where his family was waiting for him in front of a freshly made Imperial Palace, built as a perfect replica of the old one.

While the girls watched him with curious expressions, Seth lifted Theo in his arms and said with a wide smile.

“It’s over. Let’s go inside.”

Smile blossomed on the faces of all women gathered as they all followed Seth, entering the palace. After everyone was inside, the doors to the palace closed, and it started floating high up in the air.
