Aether's Revival 8: Proven Strength

Comments

I think the only one specifically that wasn't mentioned was the one that they wouldn't know to use/give until they reached the embassy. When we met the ambassador, I assumed it was for her, but they never gave her anything so it must be for someone else in a situation we haven't encountered yet. After finishing the book, I'm wondering if it's going to be for a certain Kroggian.

Sam

CH14 had some of it.

Daniel Schinhofen

I think the one thing you left out is the enchanted items and notes light shield had in Greg’s ring. You know the ones that were noted to specifically wait until magus tier?

aforce05

Just crammed this whole thing in my eyes in under 24 hours...and I may very well explode in anticipation of the next one!

WandRnMonk

That was just.... WOW. Great book DS. Now all I need to do is learn how to move forward in time by eight months.

This series just keeps getting better! Loved this book and have some thoughts. Is there any place (besides facebook) where this series can be discussed without spoiling?

Manowar

How long do we have to wait for the next one. This one was a few thousand pages to short.

Robert Phipps Jr (Perren d'Wolff)

That was a damn satisfying entry. Could you do us a favor and just write the next one immediately?

Seth

William Ray

Aether flames on both. Hmmmmm

Matthew Malkin

Nope. I would to have already done so for a release on the 8th. They require a minimum 72 hours in advance for a preorder.

Daniel Schinhofen

Are you putting it up for preorder on Amazon?

James Parker

so i actually looked up celtic vs norse designs, specifically the knot-like designs similar to what's on the axe. in norse culture, it tends to depict animals, people, things, or events, whereas in celtic designs, it tends to follow a mathematical or symmetrical patterned structure of some kind, usually a single line that weaves around and around itself to make the design. while the axe lines don't quite have the structure of many other celtic designs, it looks much more like those then the norse ones, since there aren't any specific subjects being depicted. but if as you say, the chapters depict a norse inspired culture, then maybe it's a mix of celtic and norse. EDIT: also, looking at the smaller knot designs on the handle of the axe, those are definitely celtic

David Shmilowitz

possibly, I haven't read any of the advance chapters, i like to read the whole book in 1 go.

David Shmilowitz

Yeah I was deffinetly getting a norse feel from the chapters so far

Joel Wilkinson

I can never make it till the weekend to read it

Joel Wilkinson

Think this is my favorite cover of the series now

Nozzy

Iirc it was mentioned to be more Nordic in culture but I could see it being a mixture of Nordic and Celtic

Rapsten

Awesome Sauce!!!

Gelatinous Cube

It does

Samuel Strode

Agreed!

Samuel Strode

Love it

manwithinfo

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh 😍

Jim Payne

something interesting i'm noticing is that the (beautiful) gold inlay on the axe looks celtic in design. I wonder if Krogga culture is celtic inspired, like how the empire culture is japanese inspired.

David Shmilowitz

looking forward to the book. now I'm looking forward to the paperback book as well.

Tim Nielsen

I feel like the "book 8 of" might need a little bit more spacing from the line below it. For those with lower vision, it kinda bleeds into the same words. Other than that I love the look!

Jekca Totten

Axe vs Naginata! So excited for this book!

Sam

I get to spend my weekend reading awesomeness, instead of making plans for valentines , I'm OK with this

Anthony Conte

I am so excited, I may take the day off work to read it.

Tim Allgood

This will be an awesome early birthday present

Daniel Glasson

The hype. It is real

WandRnMonk

That axe is... Wow, no words. Words are hard

Mcwidowmaker

Looks greats can’t wait for the book

jordan silvester

That is the most beautiful looking axe I love the symbolism, I'm thinking the axe represents Krog.

Jo

That looks so cool

AJ

I can't wait!
