I disagree with the ending feeling rushed. Many series I read just seem to linger on and dimminish in quality. I lose interest and never get the satisfying closure that book 11 has provided. Thank you for wrapping up the series nicely!

10 great books and the last one feels rushed and Sean’s just leaving and James shows up for 2 min and is already stronger! It feels like a huge let down! Thanks for all the great books and good luck going forward!

Can't wait to see what comes next.

My one sentence review of this incredible book: "Well that escalated quickly."

I haven't read whose room that is yet, but I LOVE the photo on the wall...

Web_Outlaw

You are definitely not the only one :) That is exactly what seeing that image makes me think of too.

Agreed - the writing keeps people coming back. But the cover is the first point of contact in the new reader sales chain. The minute the cover makes you stop and read the blurb or notice all the 5 star reviews is the minute the cover is no longer important. DS loves the ultra-minimalist covers, and there are a few folks like yourself who'll find them quirky enough to stop and read the blurb. But the marketing analysis of page views doesn't lie - certain cover styles draw the eye in a VERY crowded Amazon search page, and this isn't it. At first glance, given no other information, I would assume BW11 is about how to get your SO to agree to the Marie Kondo treatment for your living room.

Or Hero and Gothy might open the door, take a look, shake their heads, and shut it again.

While I'm sad to see a beloved series end, I LOVE when an author actually ends a series of books, movies, etc. The one thing I really like is when a story has a planned-from-the-beginning end. So congratulations! Also, am I the only one who has the theme from Stargate (the movie) running in their head looking at that cover?

Yep i thought about the covers like that but like the great late terry p i loved the artwork as a breath of fresh air, i liked the original binding words book 1 cover because i was fed up with tits and ass suggestions in the genre or the luke version of holding a sword up while women fawn at his feet. Made me look for covers that made me think about purchasing the book, yes covers sell to the masses blah blah but the writing keeps you coming back to the author, plus some time simple is better as you may overlook a startling nuance that was hidden .

Great to have another completed series. Sad to see it finish

Heavenly Chaos will be adding into rotation after AR8.

So... got a lot of love/hate for this book. Love to read more Sean&Co., hate that it's the last book of the series. That said, I've got to wonder, what is going to take its place in the writing rota?

daGrimm

Great series - hate that it's ending. Could write another dozen SoL stories after the Thor conflict is resolved of him just inventing stuff. One thing that I always shake my head on, though - these covers are almost intentionally designed not to sell books to anyone who's not already hooked on the series.

Dennis Erwin

Is that a Xbox 360 in the credenza? 😜 Can't wait!

End of an era.

Chioke Nelson

Looking forward to the book. Hate that it's ending tho this is the series that got me reading your books
