I've taken a little break from my work and have completely forgotten what I was working on before my break :p Currently, I'm stuck with an insane amount of wips that I would like to be able to finish before the new year but we'll see how that goes (I'm going away a bit on the 27th and have no clue when I'll be back)
Right now I have:
Aya Takano oil studies (from last year lol)
Cumming on Jesus Zine
A little triptych about discovering porn
ocean paintings
a few zines about love
clay frame paintings
and a little comic about anal sex and flowers.
Of course, these are way too many things to do in four days!!!! That's why I'll be focusing on finishing the Jesus cum zine, and the ocean paintings as they are the closest to being finished. Perhaps I'll also do some quick digital collages on the side :o
I've got some clips of me sorting through my work and looking at some of the trad pieces I finished this year, I'm hoping to put them all together into a video for yous :3 No clue when that'll happen though. I really do think the paintings take priority right now, maybe the love zines too (I'm gonna put up a little poll for next months zine :p after I finish getting organised and settled into my studio again.
For next year I'd really like to get way more organised and establish a proper practice and routine that will allow me to create a sustainable career. I keep saying this every year but I've learnt a lot and grown + also have people in my life now that'll keep me on track so let's remain optimistic about it!!!. A shop launch should be happening at some point early next year and I'd love to have little themed launches. Maybe I'll focus on books since that's my obsession right now, despite me not making any due to me being convinced that I need a printer to start. I don't need one that badly however it would make the entire process so so much easier!!!!
