Astra - Main Characters Voice Cast!

Hello Patrons,

We got a back-to-back update today! This one is specific to the main character voice cast. You can hear all the selected VA's here from their audition lines:

Voice selection was a mix of your Patreon votes, team choices, and other project specific considerations (scheduling for instance). Here is a bit of the rationale for you in case you were curious which audition "number" was selected!

Iris 3 - So Iris 1 and Iris 3 were the main Patreon votes. We are deciding to go with Iris 3 for a couple reasons: her voice is a bit softer which we want to round out her ice queen personality and the acting is more subtle to be firm but not overly commanding!

Vaela 3 - This one was an interesting vote. The Patreon vote does fit with what a genki character would sound like with a bit of tsun thrown in there. The Vaela of astra has a different temperament which fits more with 3. Also her voice is quite unique without any squeaks or sounding obnoxious which is hard to pull off.

Kai 1 - You guys want 1, we want 1, Kai fits 1, we cast 1. Ezpz lemon squeezy

Celeste 4 - The highest Patreon votes! We were kinda interested in 1 from the team side however after listening back to it, we are actually fans of 4 now as well. It has a nice, cute little sister vibe and her acting is on point! Good work convincing us on 4.

Luna 1 - Luna 3 is actually the voice of Celeste 4 so that one is out of the running. Luna 2 also had a great voice however her recording equipment was having alignment issues with the rest of the cast. You will notice that the Luna 1 in the google drive shared above is different than what was in the original Patreon post. We had her do a more 'soft-spoken, innocent' vibe to dial back the succubus style while still coming across with flirty ara-ara energy! We are overall happy with this pick when considering the many different factors that played into this decision.

As the actors are under NDA, we will reveal their names closer to the release of the project.
