Crystalline - Resource Allocation

Hello Patrons,
Hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday!
Just wanted to provide an update that the storyboard for Crystalline Episode 5 + Epilogue is completed! We are working through the script now and if everything continues along smoothly like it has thus far, you should should be getting your Alpha build by end March / early April.
Our next step after Ep5 is completed is to look into the mini-games. With it being a visual novel, I know a lot of people aren't particular about them (some even rather skip them!), so I wanted to ask you guys what your preference is.
Please feel free to vote on the poll as well as let us know your thoughts below. Based on feedback from our Patreons, we'll move forward accordingly. :^)
Thank you!

I would like to see what would be a more interactive minigame that you guys have planned out.

2018-02-25 17:23:29 +0000 UTCMan time will go so slow upto the alpha really can't wait now. With regards to the mini games for me the story, artwork and character development are the most important. You guys have done epic work so far with Ace and Crystalline so I trust whatever you decide will be for the best

2018-02-23 23:41:29 +0000 UTCSince you guys put in a few mini-games as an additional asset in the demo. I don't see why you can't put them into the complete product. I can understand if you want to get rid of it but it is also nice to have some mini-activity games to contrast the serious storyline. It worked with Danganronpa, so it should also work with Crystalline as long it is done right.

2018-02-23 22:58:21 +0000 UTCWhile Ace Academy was my favorite visual novel ever (not joking :) ), its minigames left a lot to be desired. IMO they might as well not have even been included. I don't mind minigames, but if they're included I'd rather them be fleshed out a bit more. It doesn't have to be incredibly in-depth or something no one has done before, I've had "connect 4" minigames be quite entertaining when done correctly.

2018-02-23 21:55:35 +0000 UTCThat is actually a hard question. I like visual novels that give a little bit of distraction or even some other kind of gameplay, but on the other hand i can understand if people dont are interested in it. So for me personally, i think i will skip this vote - i am happy with every solution - because i persoanly trust you already enough that it doesnt matter what will come out in the end, becaus it will be done in a way that everyone can be happy with - lets face it ACE was really a fun experience and what i saw from Crystalline is also amazing work ;-)
