Hey folks!
I’ve been considering what I’m going to do next once I’ve finished the magical drinks booklet. One idea that I keep coming back to is a collection of ready-made dungeon puzzles and trap rooms. Here’s one example I’ve been working on!
I love a good dungeon puzzle as it gives more importance to characters who thrive outside of combat. Prepping a good puzzle room takes time though and there aren’t many resources out there that explain interesting yet accessible puzzles in a way that I would like.
So! I thought it’d be cool to create some of my own. I’ll of course throw in some good trap rooms too 😈
My approach to this next project will be a little different as I want to make it a system-neutral resource. There’s a lot of legal issues these days with publishing under 5th edition rules it seems, and to cover my back (as well as make this sort of thing accessible to all game groups!) I think system-neutral is the way to go.
This will mostly change how I refer to spells or monsters, it’ll be a pretty subtle change in writing.
What do you think? Would a book of ready-made puzzle rooms and traps be something you’d like too? What kind of things would you like to see in a book like this? Let me know!
