Mass Effect 1 Modding Guide Release
Added 2020-11-29 11:39:00 +0000 UTCSo as promised here it is: My ridiculously detailed guide for Mass Effect 1. It's available on the website in the new Bioware section that will probably be filled out slowly over time with guides for ME2 and ME3 as well as the Dragon Age games.
A few things to note: The ME1 guide isn't comparable with my Bethesda stuff. At all. The instructions are for about a dozen mods, that should give you an idea of how small the scope is. I also lack the years of experience when it comes to Bioware modding. Basically what I did is check out all the various resources that already exist and compiled them into my trademark collection of screenshots and insanely detailed instructions.
I have played about 6-ish hours with this setup so far. Not sure if the MAKO controls are decent as I haven't hopped into that infernal vehicle yet. This is a first release, no beta reading or testing so far. It's tiny so I'm fairly confident there are no major kinks to work but you never know.
If you want to see some of the cool mods available for the Mass Effect games and how active the modding community is to this day, watch this excellent showcase published on N7 Day 2020.
