Regardless why exactly he decided to not participate in 2024 elections, the Democratic Party was put in uncomfortable position to find another candidate within a week. Otherwise presidential elections would be restarted in next year with all delays and outrageous from people. In case of Garrison, he was basically bullied by his advisers and voters to continue race under direct physical threats.
