Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus

Grande Cuculo ecco che arriva per voi la storia di Babbo Natale e la storia di San Nicolas: cosa avranno in comune o semplicemente le due storie si sono unite fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri e a farci conoscere il Babbo Natale vecchiotto e paffutello che indossa il costume rosso e porta doni ai bambini buoni?

Spero vi tenga compagnia in questa vigilia di Natale, ricordando i momenti in cui anche noi aspettavamo l'arrivo dei doni sotto l'albero e cercavamo di essere buoni per non rimanere a bocca asciutta e solo con il carbone...

Ma questa è una altra storia che potrei raccontarvi più avanti, magari con qualche ricerca meno frettolosa e con il vostro aiuto nel reperire materiale.

Vi auguro un sereno Natale e per seguire meglio il mio racconto, vi lascio in allegato anche la storia in italiano ed in inglese.

Big Cuckoo here comes for you the story of Santa Claus and the story of San Nicolas: what do they have in common or have the two stories simply joined together to reach the present day and to introduce us to the old and chubby Santa Claus who wears the red costume and brings gifts to good children?

I hope it keeps you company on this Christmas Eve, remembering the moments when we too waited for the gifts to arrive under the tree and tried to be good so as not to remain empty-handed and only with coal...

But this is another story that I could tell you later, perhaps with some less hasty research and with your help in finding material.
