haha these are always great!! I actually had no idea that the hex codes meant anything and I would have never guessed that they did tbh (but I should have known everything means something lol) Thank you so much for sharing the info on what they mean, this is a really cool extra detail!

So! A couple of brainrot notes here: This anime is "ver1.1a" which means it's not a 1:1 recap of the game (as you've already noticed). This plays into the larger Drakengard/NieR concept, which is an infinitely branching timeline that loops into itself. Every ending of every game is a different branch of the timeline, even the joke ones, and each version of the stage plays too. Those other branches ended and are no longer being "observed". So far it seems like Endings E are the branches that carry the story forward (or Ending D in Drakengard 3's case since it has no E. Maybe we'll get a ver.1.1285478378437 whatever with a new Ending E like we did for Replicant?!). Also, the hex codes that flash on screen for like 3 frames during the ad break title transitions are legit messages. They seem to be reports from Accord. These have been translated from hex to Japanese to English so they might be slightly off. Episode 1 says: [Report] Androids are beings that undergo a cycle of life and death. [Report] Will the cycle of reincarnation bring about salvation or destruction? Episode 2 says: [Report] Machine lifeforms possess pseudo-intelligence. [Report] How is that different from human intelligence? Ok sorry I'll shut up for now.

oh yes Reincarnation is the only thing I haven't really taken the time to dive into quite yet, but I definitely should check out the stuff you mentioned! thank you so much for watching the NieR content btw, it means a lot! :)

Luniiii that was soooo coool!! I highly appreciate the nier reactions. You have such a unique perspective on things & seeing your reactions & hearing your takes give me a whole new perspective of the story. I personally think it's best when you really get invested in it, like edge of your seat style. It really enhances the experience, that is meant 2B. Achievement: Through the Looking Glass - Learn by hearing someone elses perspective, ty for sharing ❤️🙏

I love your NieR content. As a NieR fan I started watching last week. If you liked NieR story and music you should check out NieR Reincarnation. You could listen to it's music (like this track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGGmbEy4nzU)or watch some trailers, cutscenes or story summaries. In second season of anime there are some small references to this shutted down game. This game and a character from drakengard 3 made me think that Nier franchise is all about weapon stories and multiple branches
