Drunk
Added 2024-08-18 15:40:57 +0000 UTCA drunk driver took out a power pole last night as I was talking to a half dozen people about commissions, present work etc. so this is the most efficient way to let you all know. We just had power restored after two "fails". It was up then down again twice. The local power just announced it's fixed for real so hopefully it is.. I will be home all day so we can resume our conversations now.
PS~ The sound of multiple battery backups going off in unison is better than coffee.😋

A hurricane? WTH! Yeah it was nothing like that. I've only seen a tornado but a hurricane/ Yikes. Thank goodness you are alright.

2024-08-18 18:22:37 +0000 UTCWe had a storm last month that blew out the power for most of the city. Took three days for them to get out to our side of town. You never realize how much of your life revolves around having electricity until you don't have it.
