After running from Batman, poison Ivy takes refuge in a drain pipe and falls asleep. She wakes to find out that the drainpipe she hid in was a runoff pipe for an illegal Monsanto research lab experimenting with state of the art weed killers. The chemicals react to her human- plant chemistry and a changed Dr. Pamela Isley is transformed again. Now the human/ plant hybrid is a muscular powerhouse, tough as a weed and twice as hard to kill.π
