Nasha is a Green Naga and sits at the bottom of the Naga caste system, as an "untouchable" she is expected to offer herself up as food to the "Reds". All Naga are cannibals but a member two castes above you is expected to dine freely without resistance. Nasha is an outcast though and refuses to go quitely for anyone. Just her answering the Reds challenge is considered criminal.
