It wasn't, they usually suspended it with a crane. Susan was the only one who could stand next to Ursula and hold the weight with her but Ursula doesn't want to be upstaged by anyone. The director is looking at the money he could save on effects, so maybe if Ursula was to enjoy Miss Olson a bit more, he could convince our musclebound heroine to see it his way?
