Progress report:

Season 3: 23k Words

The post came a little late today. Sorry, when public schools are closed, it messes up my schedule. Rogue chapter this week is edited, so I should be able to get some good new writing done this week. I'm thinking Meteor Freak should be ready for next Friday. Maybe the last Friday of the month will become its home, we'll see.

If getting D'Lavina into his harem was the point of that whole storyline, then yes it would be a massive waste, especially for a non-canon character. I'm not sure how familiar you are with Star Trek lore, but if you look at it through the lens of Q, it's interpreted far diffently. Q's actions often could be seen as antagonistic or mischievous, to later have an important lesson or function. In this case, the Mary Sue Drawback gave Tyson 400 Cp, but he had to spend far more to overcome it. On the surface this seems like a poor trade just to gain D'Lavina, especially when compared to what he got for Vicky for similar investment. But ignore her for now and look at what else he gained. The Iconic Interceptor has the upgrades of all his ships, making the ones he lost unimportant. He's immune to mind control, dark side corruption, assimilation, etc. He can disable reality warping creatures like other Q, and the brother (son), etc. With the Counseling Bay, he can fix mental issues, such as trauma from being raised a slave and having your mother killed by sandpeople while being raised in an unfeeling cult of space wizards.... While this situation made Tyson spend most of his points, it also prepared him for so many potential future threats. The Dominion, Borg, Q Civil War, and most other threats he could face.

Ugh I can begrudgingly accept killing Revan, but having D'Lavina join mc’s harem sickens me. Going through all that to remove the drawback and then still acting as if it was never removed via creating convoluted reasons for keeping her alive, is so insanely frustrating. Honestly hopes she dies or otherwise finds her way out of the story somehow.

Correction this Season ends when the old TNG fanfiction did. Not the TNG show itself.

Interesting. Honestly I'm glad Revan got nuked. Smart play with the cortosis too. I'm gonna be really disappointed if Bastila and Mission don't join the harem though lol. Considering the Reality Doors Tyson can have doors in different time periods too. Meaning he might be able to collect Padme and adult Ahsoka down the line. (Though that might mean no Leia and Luke). From the Trek universe though he definitely needs to add Troy, Crusher and Seven to the team. Since this arc is supposed to end when Next Generation did that means it time for Deep Space 9 and the beginning of Voyager. Considering his personal ship already has Transwarp he's going to be uncatchable. Looking forward to how all that plays out.
