Progress report:
Rogue: Arc 7 Draft: 200k+ words.
One of my goals for Arc 7 was to keep it limited to 20 chapters. I'm waiting on the results for the Kaine's fate poll, but that seems reasonably settled. Only patrons voted so far, so we'll see what happens when the general readers start voting. I'm 95% certain Arc 7 will be 21 chapters. I'm writing the final battle now, which is chapter 20, so I'll need one more chapter to do my lead-out, and lead-in to the next Arc.
Arc 7 is turning out to be so long because it contains parts of several stories. Arc 5 was long because it was three movies. Arc 7 has parts from 2 movies and 2 other stories combined into what I hope is a coherent story. Plus the first two chapters are extra-long, with the second chapter being mostly recap. Then there's Chapter 100 which is a novella in itself. The chapters following 100 are reasonably long too, it was necessary to tie up the third act.
Arc 2 re-edit is almost done.
