This story has evolved so much over the outlining process and I'm happy to say that I'm stoked to write what this will be: A Dungeon Core City Builder! Which means it needs a better name, pronto.
Things on the list so far: The Accidental Dungeon, Dungeon Monstropolis (plz don't sue me Disney), and Ascendant Dungeon. Tell me in the comments below what you think works... do you have a suggestion? Here's the summary for it!
When the heroes fail, you must become your own.
Dollitrice Grandmeir wanted nothing more than to sip her tea on the edge of the forest, practice magic, and be left alone, but Regnant powers came with responsibility. She let that responsibility lapse, hoping to escape her fate, but that only gave Dolli a new problem.
With her village transformed into a dungeon, and she the reigning power over it, difficult choices had to be made. Worse, Drakes invade her seat of power, making it impossible for her citizens-turned-dungeon monsters to respawn after hero attacks.
Dolli will have to rally the people who came to hate her from her negligence to save them, and build her dungeon into something formidable to hold out against the coming storm of raiders.
