Critical mass achieved! Black hole imminent! Just kidding, but I am chugging right along. Hit some flow and my stride middle of the book, but sad sad news, I have detected a disturbance in the force at the beginning of the story. It's too slow!!! Ahhh!
I'll be finishing up the book and turning straight around to fix up those early chapters. I'll be cutting a TON of world building, BUT FEAR NOT! I'm going to save all those juicy nuggets for you, and you can read... The Cut Content! I'll throw it off in it's own doc exactly as is, and let you decide which beginning you liked better. My bet is that the stuff will be cool, but not warrant messing up the flow as it currently.
