TAADAA! It's 100% done! The release day tentatively near the end of the month. As we get closer, I'll tell you for sure what the date is ^_^
This book series has been such a pleasure to write. There are so many stories left untold, the main arc not yet revealed, the string of incidents from book to book all leading to one inevitable conclusion. There's been a hand at the wheel of fate the whole time... but whose?
I sincerely hope I'll get to return to it later next year, but for now, it's time to move on to something different.
Foundations - The Book of Zo, Bastion Academy Book 1
YEEEEEE! I can finally tell you the name of the book! Contract signed the other day, book is in dev editing, cover has been started by the artist. Whew! Things are just moving right along with this series and I loooove it so much. This is the most fun I've ever had writing. This universe is the most detail and depth planning I've ever done up front and holy cow was it so worth it.
The magic system has had so many hours of thought, the backstories, the character profiles, their motivations, ensuring consistent behavior according to their backstory... Needless to say, it feels so much more like real places/times/characters than any other book I've written. I hope I get to write several books in this universe.
Expect chapters to start dropping in the next few weeks!
