Happy Holidays from Vel

It’s been a hell of a year. Same number of days as last year, but more change than I’ve ever experienced. Feels longer, ya know?

It’s all good change though, and I owe all of it to you. I’m going to talk about some of the wonderful things that have happened, and then some of the things I’m hopeful for next year!

It would be impossible to talk about this year without talking about going full time. This fall, I finally took the big leap and made content creation my full time job. It has been thrilling, exhilarating, relaxing, and comforting all at the same time. I hope that ease has come through in the content more than anything, as I’ve finally been able to prioritize y’all the way I wanted to.

How was I able to go full time? Well we hit 500 members that’s how! It’s a crazy number to me, but one I’m very proud of. I wasn’t sure if it’d happen, but I can’t express how thankful I am. It makes me wonder what next year may hold.

Going full time has also let me explore new opportunities as a creator, good and bad. You’ll see a lot of these pop up in the New Year, but the one I’m most excited for is writing! My hope is that by the end of winter you’ll be able to get your hands on a (digital) Vel book. Who knows how that timeline will actually work, but we’ll see.

For those that have been following my journey on discord, you know I’ve been quietly busting my ass at the gym every day since going full time. Change has been gradual but we’re almost there (a six pack!) and whenever that day arrives there will be some visual Vel content for folks who are interested. I wouldn’t expect “traditional visual” content but something exciting nonetheless, and perhaps some hiking videos (maybe I moan who knows) with some camping.

I’ll wrap this all up with the most heartfelt thank you I can muster. Nothing, and I mean nothing, that I’m proud of this year would have happened without you reading this. Without my mods who maintain the discord, the writers who honor me by choosing me for their writing, and the community to spread the good word of my content, I quite literally wouldn’t be where I am. Thank you. Truly. Here’s to good change, loud moans, good stories, and maybe a shirtless hiking video or two.
