Many PowerApps devs view the new YAML Code View feature as just for ALM, like pushing to GitHub and source control, which is valid and beneficial for larger dev teams. But its real power? Viewing and editing the actual code behind our PowerApps.
This opens new development angles. I'm talking custom code generators, AI-generated App templates, etc
For instance, similar to how we can use Copilot or ChatGPT-4o to generate Javascript or C# code, with good AI prompting, we can use AI to generate PowerApps YAML code, creating App templates for us.

It's early days though, but I believe we'll soon grasp the full potential of this new feature. Either way, I'm excited for what's to come!
