The current best explanation is Quantum Mechanics! The paradox is just that quantum mechanics makes predictions (& experimental results confirm them) that violate local realism.

I recently got a pair of polarized sunglasses but I fail to understand why some light is special and what makes it special (other than "reflections" and "magic"). On a side-note: I found it slightly confusing with the switched voices so often.
