Rick & Morty Top 5 issues
Added 2017-10-29 00:24:22 +0000 UTCFor those who were unaware, Best Things About Rick & Morty won the Top 5 vote for last month, but I've yet to do the video for it. This is for a couple of reasons, but the main one is this... I don't know what to say.
I have my Top 5 chosen. I don't think it's a particularly groundbreaking list, but putting my personal spin on it is the point of the series. Instead, the issue is that I've sat down to record it three times and I cannot bring myself to speak emphatically about it.
Usually when I do these, the list is the hard bit. Once that's written and my notes are made, I can ramble enough to fill the time (God, I'm not making this sound very appealing and professional, am I). This time, however, it's like...yeah...those are true.
While I still agree with my list, I don't currently have the enthusiasm for Rick & Morty to express myself properly. Maybe that's because this season's over... Maybe it's because this season ended pathetically... Maybe I'm just a bit out of touch with what I need to say.
The bottom line is that if I made this video now, it'd be bad. I've been increasingly critical of my own work in recent months, scrapping more partially-done videos than ever before. This is just one that I can't make right now.
I apologise as Video Voted episodes are very important to me, but it's the inherent issue with this sort of thing; like with Release Raptor, I don't know how a video will go until I'm making it. Sorry if you were looking forward to this one. I plan to do it at some point down the road.
