New $10+ Access & Policy

Welcome to all the new $10+ patrons!

My appeal to the viewers has gone well and there are quite a few new faces here this month. Of course we can always do better, so if you like these episodes please preach about them to the other viewers and convince them to pledge too.

So everyone with a confirmed pledge for September '17 should now have access to the whole Johto PokéSins playlist linked above. Please let me know if you can't view any of the episodes.

*Note: If you pledged after the cut-off date or since this post was made, you WILL NOT have access until the next month. Please don't comment asking why you can't view it; it's not an automatic process.*

In addition to granting permissions to the new guys, I'm instituting a change in policy for the $10 reward tier. Both based on patron feedback and in light of the recent illegal upload of a Johto episode, I have decided to be a bit stricter regarding who can view these episodes.

It used to be that anyone who pledged $10+ gained access to these episodes FOREVER. E.G. Someone who pledged $10 once in 2015 could still view any episodes from before that date. Now, however, only someone with a confirmed pledge for the month can view the episodes that month.

I decided to make this change because a couple of patrons have complained about how it's unfair for ex-patrons to still have access to patron-only episodes. Despite them not getting new episodes, they could still view the older ones. Also, after the leak of an episode, I have no way to know if that fraudster is a current patron or if they pledged once years ago.

For ongoing patrons, the only change is that you'll get emails with links every month. These should all come close together, so you can easily ignore/delete them. This is because I ensure the right people have access by removing ALL permissions and reapplying the list of confirmed patrons.

I hope you all understand and accept this new policy and are looking forward to Johto 13 which will be coming in the next week or two...
