Schedule Tweaks

I might not need to write this, but my schedule has been hectic the last week or so. I don't know if it's been possible to tell that from the outside, but I thought I'd explain the situation.

As you may or may not know, it was my birthday a couple of days ago. There's also been a lot of work going on at my house over the last couple of weeks; reflooring, rewiring, hammering, drilling, furniture being made and moved... It's been noisy and it's been hard to breathe.

I live something of a nocturnal lifestyle. I work best at night and my videos go up in the afternoon/evening, so I tend to sleep late and go to bed late. This conflicts with 'sensible' decorating hours, so my sleep has been fragmented at best and almost non-existant at worst. Add the dust/paint fumes in the air and I cough whenever I step outside my bedroom.

Anyway. Because of all this sleep-disturbance (and taking wednesday off for my birthday), I'm a bit behind on some series. AoD was paused due to inability to record (the problems of a four-person series), but has now been recorded, albeit with a minor quality issue. PokéSins has been difficult because coughing, noise and lack of sleep all hinder the comedy-writing process.

Add to that my taking most of the upcoming weekend off for a proper birthday celebration and my schedule suddenly feels out of hand. I originally planned for PokéSins to go up a few days ago, but that couldn't happen. I want to have it viewable by the public in time for the start of my time off on saturday, so I'll be working on it today/tonight/tomorrow. This means that I'm skipping this week's First Impressions to let me use the time.

Like I said, I don't know if I needed to tell you guys all this, but I feel better if you know why I'm behind on stuff.

Oh. My headset broke, too. I've bought a new freestanding mic (I shall edit the $400 milestone to reflect this), but I'm not yet sure if the quality is sufficient. I'll be doing PokéSins Ep56 with this mic and I guess I'll see what the reaction is.
