For repressed emotions, I’d recommend focusing on SOMATIC release. Move your body: ecstatic dance, tai chi, hip and heart opening yoga. Shake and move your body because that’s where emotions store themselves. For limiting beliefs, I’d recommend daily, regular affirmations pushing beyond those beliefs + doing challenging things you think you can’t do to show yourself that you are indeed capable & have no limits!

For shadow work, I've begun with some breathing exercises and focusing on tense areas,but I feel called to deal with repressed emotions/ limiting beliefs. What are your suggestions for dealing with those issues?

it’s possible that you need to smoke cleanse your space (smudge), yourself (spiritual bath) + do your shadow work (journaling) because those emotions are coming from somewhere within or around you. Feel it, release it, transmute it.
