Controls:

Zombie Girl - Three H animations

Notes:
Only the Entrance Hall is currently populated with enemies. These enemies will respawn once defeated by re-entering the room. Only some parts of the castle are closed off, these are the transition rooms to other areas that are under development, the save room, and the first boss room.

Each attack you make depletes your stamina and after a while of not attacking it will begin to regenerate. Enemy attacks also decrease your stamina and while you can keep attacking with no stamina, if you get hit with low stamina by an enemy you will be knocked down and become vulnerable to a H scene. Once the H scene starts you can mash S to escape it. H scenes do not penalize the player or end unless mashed out of.

In the event you get knocked down and there are no enemies don't worry, you will stand back up after a few seconds.

Some areas can only be reached with a jump and backdash.


Bugs & Issues:

Combat isn't final. I like the feel of some of it, but don't like the feel of other parts of it. This'll be an ongoing adjustment to get it feeling right.

When an enemy is killed while in mid-air they will freeze during their death animation.

The player cannot currently take enough damage to die, this is intentional for testing purposes.

In some areas the camera will shudder a small amount.

If you use an air attack near to the ground you will continue to resolve the animation before being returned to a grounded state.

Sometimes the hit sounds for enemies or the player getting attacked will stop.

The visibility of a confirmation of an attack on the player and the enemy isn't clear enough so it's likely I'll change how hit confirmation appears in future builds.


Final notes:

I only have a small pool of people to help test this game and so I am currently unaware of any resolution issues for different or ultrawide monitors.

Concerning potential virus threats. One person I sent the file to recieved a virus threat on windows defender. I've performed a full scan of my computer with windows defender and recieved nothing on my end. I also ran it through VirusTotal, an online service that runs the file through every available anti-virus software. It returned with no threats. That being said I will always cautioun people to first scan their file after download. It could've just been a false positive, it could've not been, but I've done what I can on my end to ensure it's safe. The virus that Windows Defender notified my friend about was called Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl. Stay safe.

If you encounter bugs that aren't listed or your machine runs the game in an odd or strange fashion please try to let me know, and if possible, replicate the bug and tell me the steps so I can try and replicate it on my end.
