Some new enemy designs and updates.

Been making these on the side while I did more stuff on Unity. Unity is the focus right now so at some point I'll get idle animations for these new enemies done. In terms of Monster Girls this kraken-like girl is about as wild as it'll get in terms of design. Though you can expect the usual and popular monster girl types to be included at some point.

Left: This enemy will be more of an environmental hazard. If you've played Mario games you'll know where I'm going with this one. She'll be stationary in high areas and drop down onto the player character when they pass under her, dealing damage and initiating a H scene if certain conditions are met. Because she is an environmental hazard she will be immune to damage. There will likely be more types of enemies that function like this.

Middle: Another maid-type enemy. I've mentioned before but there'll be a few variants of the maids as they'll be one of the more common enemies in the first part of the castle. This one will use the range of her broom to its advantage when attacking the player character and also incorporate it in some fashion in her H-scenes.

Right: This character will likely receive more design updates down the line as I plan for her to be more of a boss encounter perhaps. She will probably be stationary and utilize the long reach of her tentacles to attack and grab the player. I hope to have a mechanic in which she'll grab the player character with her tentacles and slowly start dragging the player to her, in which during this time you can break free if you're fast enough. But it'll be quite some time until I figure out how to code that.


This post also functions as somewhat of a more public update as to what's been going on. I'm still hard at work whenever I get the time and as I said, it's mostly on the Unity side of things right now. I've been largely ironing out certain mechanics and bugs that bother me and it's making progress. I really want the game to feel good in the player's hands first and foremost before I go any further. As a side note I have a H-animation for the blonde maid mostly done. Just a few more tweaks and I'll post it before the end of the month. I should also note that the H-animations I post are just one part of an actual scene with an enemy. There'll be phases to them of course.
