In today's video, I dive into music production using Bitwig Studio. The focus is on creating a track from scratch, and here's how I go about it:
Starting Off: I jump right into Bitwig's grid and set up a pitch module, selecting notes from the A minor scale.
Sequencing: I use trigger modules, a clock quantizer, and a counter to set up the sequencing. I also incorporate a sine oscillator and an AD (Attack/Decay) module.
Sound Design: I experiment with convolution, delays, and ducking to add texture to the sound. I also use voice stacking and a chance module to add variety.
Percussion: I add a melodic kick and use my XO hi-hats preset for the rhythm section. I also add a clap to accentuate the second bar.
Bassline: I use a polymer for the bass and set it to monophonic mode. I also introduce some sidechain effects using an LFO.
Melody: I introduce a second note to the bassline and use step mods to bring in variations. I also add a slight delay to the top band of the bass.
Final Touches: I use DSEQ3 on the master track to clean up the frequencies and save the project, mentioning that it will be shared on my Patreon.
Closing: I thank the viewers for watching, ask for likes and subscriptions, and sign off.
