Deep Techy Drum and Bass from Scratch - Mission Critical

I start with a drum loop at 170 BPM and build up various bass sounds and synth layers in Phase 4. I also add percussion elements like shakers and rides. I create different sections by removing or adding elements.
The intro is crafted using a filtered drum loop along with a pad sound. The main idea and structure of the track stem from a short bass and drum loop, which I then expand upon with variations in percussion and synths. I emphasize that a significant part of the process involves refining transitions and edits once the core idea is in place.
A notable point I discuss is achieving loudness without compression through meticulous sound design and sidechaining.
