Dude! So glad you get to go to France it's one of my favorite countries. I'm biased since I have my Master's in the language and did some studies over there. Anywho, don't be afraid to go off the beaten path in Paris. Somehow I stumbled across this paper guide I somehow got out of a book somewhere and had the chance to walk the historic Jewish neighborhoods in the back streets of Paris. Absolutely breathtaking, and there's a lot of art in general and anti-capitalist sentiment amongst much of the French working class which you might sort of pick up on while you're there.
