Thank you all for your continued support! This month, I used a huge chunk of our patreon money to prevent yet another person from being evicted and becoming homeless. Your support also allowed me to help an unemployed friend get his power turned back on. He had just used SNAP to fill his fridge with food, when the power company cut off his electricity. We were able to get it turned back on before his food went bad. Just a reminder that on top of providing for my family and Dave's, you are also helping to make immediate and direct material interventions in people's lives, quite literally saving them from falling through the yawning cracks in our society. have you seen I Am Cuba? Soviet film about the revolution made in Cuba in the direct aftermath. it's my favorite movie, revolutionary in both form and content with some really amazing filmmaking. would be interested to hear your thoughts
