The Dirtbag Life: Living off the Grid and on the Fringes of Society

Kevin Mohler joins Breht to cover a unique topic: his life as someone who rejects the comforts and trappings of modern society to live more intentionally in nature. This is not necessarily an episode we would usually do, but its fascinating and I hope some of you get something valuable out of it!

The sound quality on this episode might not be the best, but thats because my guest had to come out of the mountains to a public library in order to conduct this interview!

Fun Fact: Kevin is the brother of Corey from Existential Comics!

I’m super late to the game - only listening to this episode now. I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of selling everything I own and travelling the world, and while there are lots of people that have done it and said they have no regrets, doesn’t it kind of necessitate coming from a place of wealth or privilege to be able to do that? Like I only hear about able-bodied, white upper-middle class doing this. The vast majority of people are unable to just pack up and leave!

Great episode! Reminds me of one of my friends way back in middle school, his life’s dream was to be a dirtbag. Wonder if that ever happened... Thanks for the content Breht! Great stories.
