An analysis of "Us" directed by Jordan Peele
Added 2019-04-17 21:35:06 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I just watched "Us" yesterday, and as I left the theater, I was wrestling with trying to analyze what is was saying. Its much harder to get a grasp on than Get Out, imo. But once I saw this video, it really all came together!
This analysis is completely conducive with a Marxist or leftist perspective of this film. Jordan Peele not only has a good appreciation of race, but also of class, and this film really analyzes class more than race (which was explored more explicitly and focused on in Get Out).
