Red Hot Take: “The Uninhabitable Planet: Life After Warming”

As we work towards expanding and providing more content we are going to be releasing video versions of the new Red Hot Take series. The podcast version is up publicly but the first video episode is an unlisted video link that only Patrons have access to.

With this debut video episode we decided to leave it as an almost blank canvas so our supporters can provide ideas, suggestions, criticisms, etc. Basically, we want to create the content that has as much say/contribution from our supporters as possible.

So please leave your feedback, suggestions, concerns, complaints in the comment section of this post. I (Dave) am still in the early stages of learning video editing but am down to put in the work to learn how to get your ideas integrated into these videos.

as always Love and Solidarity,

Brett and Dave

That is definitely fair! Its very hard to keep up that level of producing content, which is why so few long form episodes are pumped out at such a high frequency (outside of Joe Rogan who is a millionaire and has nothing but free time lol) But that will likely come and go in bursts. Right now, we are trying to get REd Menace up and going, which takes away from RLR a bit, but as we get more comfy with RM, hopefully we can see an uptick in RLR interviews again!

hahahahaha @ the hands thing. Multiple people call me out on that, even my own kids, because I gesticulate so much when I talk. But thank you very much for the feedback! hopefully these will get better as time goes on

Like your videos but I have way less time to watch than to listen. Audio only is quicker to produce and more accessible. I miss the frequency of your old interviews.

Very well done video, I really liked the similarity to your prepared parts that featured in the "Guillotine". Having something like this to link regarding "hot topics" will be very helpful in discourse. You even kept your hands out of view most of the time! Impressive all around, comrade! :-)
