Rev Left Book Club, Anyone? ... Anyone?!

Okay, so as some of you may know, we are planning big things for this patreon and this platform starting in October. We haven't made any official announcements yet (stay tuned for that!), but one idea I had is to start a Rev Left Book Club.

At a certain level of patreon tiered support, you would get access to special threads where we all vote on a work to read together, chunk by chunk (i.e. if its a short book like the manifesto, we do it all at once, if its a bigger book, we take it a couple chapters at a time until we work through it all), and then I record an special bonus episode once a month where I break down and analyze what we read. THEN, anyone in that tier can have access to the thread where I post the episode (or you'll get added to a secret book club FB group, I haven't decided yet) where we can all discuss it together. Then through those discussions, I find a patron who is especially interested or insightful in the work we are discussing to come on the following month's book club episode to have a back and forth discussion about it, and the then we post that, and the cycle repeats.

The idea is that we all help each other work through classic or otherwise important revolutionary texts *together*, AND make it interactive such that those who support us at that tier will get a chance to come on the show with me to discuss what we've been reading. These episodes would only be released to other members of that tier, so you wouldn't have to worry about talking to thousands of people on a public show or anything. Moreover, by doing this we will get to know each other very well over the long term and create a little educational, personal community of friends and comrades working through important texts together.

This is just one idea for one tier of support starting in October, but I wanted to know:

1) what you all think of this idea?

2) how many of you would be interested enough to actually join if we make this happen?

3) Would you prefer a secret FB group or just use this (Patreon) to post the threads and have discussions?
