It goes the other way too. Large commercial plugins can't do things the Grid can

Part of appropriating the Grid is that, at some point, you feel you can do a lot with fairly little. No need to justify the whole work you’ve done. If it sounds good, it’s good. Whether you did with a simple Grid patch or a large commercial plugin.
