Ai is bad for Graphic Design and Creative potential

Just because you know how to write prompts, doesn't mean you're an artist! This! Maybe all these AI "designers" can brag about how quickly they managed to break into something, but personally, I have more respect for those creatives who are putting in their hard work to learn things from scratch and showcase their authentic journey. I still consider myself to be a beginner in the design world, and I hope that others like me don't get discouraged from doing their own thing due to such a presence. The human touch that you spoke about will hopefully always overrule these tech elements that want to take away creative expression. Great video Jesse! Loved all the insight :)
2023-04-29 11:50:35 +0000 UTCI definitely share some of your concerns with AI and agree that ChatGPT is fantastic for getting some nice ideas to work from. What you mentioned about new designers starting out being discouraged felt like you hit the nail on the head. There are times where I get nervous since I haven't exactly 'broken out' into design yet and seeing AI grow the way it has makes me feel like maybe I'm falling behind on even more things since I know I'm already behind on 3D and Motion, but I try to keep myself motivated by making the best work that I can make and hoping that people out there still value that. Definitely think this video could do well on youtube with a bit more content on screen etc but I think you got your points across very well here. Hope you have a nice weekend Jesse :).
